My husband and I are moving from MD to VA and we reserved a unit on a Monday for the following Saturday. They took our card info and we were told we just needed to show up on Saturday and fill out the paperwork. We drove 5 hours with a fully packed uhaul to discover that they gave our unit away. I also didn't appreciate how the lady spoke to us and handled the situation. Extremely frustrated and disappointed with this place!

This one star is way too much!!!! I reserved a unit for this weekend, gave my credit card information and even got the reservation code. After Specially speaking with someone that I need the unit and to reserve but after driving 5hrs to be there to arrive with a 16 foot truck filled to the max for these dummies to tell me when I arrived that they gave away my storage unit.... PLEASE DON'T RENT FROM THESE IDIOTS 🤬

While on a long road trip my camper van broke down in Christiansburg, and by broke down I mean the engine died. I wanted to use a local mechanic in my home state to fix it but didn't have the time to figure out how to ship it home at that exact moment. I stored the van at Valley Storage for a little over a year until I was able to arrange transit for it to get shipped back down south. While it was in their care, they called to keep me updated on it and would even have someone check the tires to make sure they weren't going flat. I would have give 5 stars, but the management should be more flexible about the 10 days notice. Especially about the open space. The rule is restrictive and it is not customer friendly. I understand the rule for an inside storage, but outside it is available right away.I am moving to another facility close by; and they are flexible.Thanks.

The movers were very helpful. They never complained about going up and down the 3 levels of stairs with heavy items and made sure all items were properly wrapped. They were on time, I definitely recommend!

I highly recommend the facility to VT students needing summer storage. Easy move in and move out. Storage facility is clean and well maintained. Autopay simplifies the process. Close to VT and a better rate than the units in town.

The area was very well maintained and clean. The staff was very kind when I opened it and also when I closed it. We used it for my son when he stayed in the area and we moved away. The rent went from $50 to $76.00 when the company was bought out by Valley so I did not like that my rent was raised without a notice. I went to login to pay and called to see why it was raised. Still, the lady who helped me was extremely nice and very helpful. I want to say her name was Kim, but I could be wrong.

Kim was very helpful when I was deciding on size of storage unit I needed by giving all the info and showing me what was available, in person. That helps a lot.Plus, I'm moving out of another company's storage facility to yours because your place is in much better condition, secure and less expensive. Since valley storage has taken over this place is awful. They keep raising the rates. I started off paying $52 a month for a 5 x 10 unit. I just paid my bill, it was $101. Not only that I no longer have 24 hour access even though my lease agreement specifically says 24 hour access.

**11 month update: Just moved out of unit and never worried about the safety of our belongings. Kim the manager, helped me navigate yet again and made moving a little easier by always being present and accommodating!*Adding an update of another 5 star experience, this time with Jerri Lynn, who went above and beyond to help me feel my storage unit was still safe and secure. I cannot express my appreciation more than to let readers know how professional as well as personal Valley Storage employees are. I'd give 10 stars if it were possible!Great Remote Experience! I live hundreds of miles away but needed a climate controlled storage unit in the area. Through America's Storage Space Website, I was able to secure a generous size unit. The manager, Kim, promptly contacted me to complete our contract, set up autopay and even supplied a moving truck for up to 5 hrs free of charge! We hired a mover who videotaped the storage unit and hallway showing an impeccably maintained unit. I felt such relief knowing my possessions were being stored in a secure location. They even supplied a free padlock as well. I can't speak more highly how professional the process went. Rent with them, you wont be disappointed!

Had a storage unit here for 4 years. They have been raising the price every year. You can see repairs need to be made and they have not improved the facilites. They had another price hike that went into effect on may 1st. We had a large outside unit. We started off paying around $53. This new hike was going to be $150. Well i hope they have people waiting to get in becuase they priced us out. I guess in some ways I should say thank you, they figured out how to eliminate an extra bill for us. Good luck valley storage.

Difficult to get in contact with the people at the actual storage facility. They don’t return calls. Went to the office on multiple occasions during open business hours Just to find the office door locked with no one inside. The lady who initially signed me up for a unit failed to tell me my gate code. The gate was open at the time I signed up so I assumed it stayed open. When I returned a second time and the gate was closed and asking me for a code I was confused however the lady that was in duty that day was kind and gave me a code I was supposed to be given the first day. I needed a storage unit within a very short timeframe and America's Storage Space was where I decided to store. The manager, Kim was very helpful over the phone in checking availability, providing a summary of rules, and other things regarding the space I was going to rent. Later that day, I stopped by the office and went through the process of renting a unit. I was in and out in less than half an hour. If you're looking for a facility with great pricing, exceptional customer service, and convenient access, then this is the place.
