It’s great if you’re a college student with roommates that need a place to store their things over the summer! It’s clean with surveillance and the service is AMAZING. I ended up cleaning out the service unit and a few days later when I called to cancel, they had already checked me out because they noticed that I removed my things and took the lock off.Overall, I highly recommend it!

We live in Southern Maryland and our daughter attends Shepherd University. We decided to get a storage unit at the end of last semester, so that we wouldn't have to take everything back to MD and then transport it all back to the University for the start of the Fall semester. Valley Storage was perfect, as it's so close to the school. It was nice to have everything right there, when we moved my daughter back in to her dorm. It was also nice to have so many unit sizes to choose from. We will definitely be back at the end of the Spring semester.

I have rented a ton of storage units over the years and this is hands down the nicest facility I have been in. I was greeted with a smile and helpful property manager (Patti). We are renting an inside air controlled unit and outside drive up unit. We are pleased with how clean the unit and entire facility. Surrounded by trees and in the country. Very happy!!!!

Crystal is fantastic. A true gem of a representative for Valley Storage. I initially called her regarding an extremely unpleasant experience at another Valley Storage location and she not only listened, but she heard me. She has gone above and beyond to make me feel supported and is helping get the situation resolved to the best of her ability. I hope Valley Storage knows how valuable she is to their organization. Without her, I would have a negative review of this company.

The application and move-in process were great. Customer service was great when I needed copies of invoices. They were also great when I forgot my passcode and could not get out the gate. They answered quickly and were able to text me the code to get out.

The facility was well run, clean and easily accessible. The personnel were friendly and helpful. Cristal at Shepherdstown Valley Storage noticed on Monday that the unit I had no longer had the lock on it and that is was empty. She then let me know that my unit was cancelled and I would no longer be billed. I was happily surprised as I had only removed the remaining objects that Saturday and was planning on calling on Monday to let them know that I no longer needed storage. They were so helpful and caring. I will gladly recommend them to all my friends in Shepherdstown. What a great company. Ann Sharp

Jenn was extremely friendly, polite, and helpful even after calling her back numerous times with multiple questions. There was then an issue with the website and Jen proceeded to take care of everything over the phone. Very professional and pleasant experience.

I have found the employees of the storage facility very friendly and helpful so would rate them at 5 stars. My major complaint with the facility is that my cost has almost doubled since I started storing there. The increase in cost has not been reflected in any improvements to the facility. At this point, I’m trying to find other options.

I have rented at Valley Storage while my daughter attended Shepherd University so we wouldn’t have to try to fit everything in our house. The staff were very helpful and the facility was clean and safe. I have referred several SU parents there. The only reason we moved out was because she graduated.

Danny was amazingly helpful. We couldn't get the code to work and it was close to the office hour closing time. But he stayed until he got the code to work and he waited for us to test it ourselves to make sure we got it to work. Very polite and friendly!

Manage was very nice and paid close attention to cleanliness. The units are easy to get to with your codes and are very secured. I also never once saw a bug or any sign of concern that would lead me to believe they had an infestation or leaks in the roof above any unit.

I just finished the process of procuring a storage space with valley storage, and it was great. Customer service was excellent, and I was impressed with the storage facility. Very clean, no bad smells, all of the grounds were well taken care of, and the security seemed really good. I'm excited to have found them, and I can't wait to get my unit filled up .
