Project Horizon is an organization built with the mission to reduce domestic, dating and sexual violence. Through classes, crisis intervention, and preventative steps, they are able to help many who are struggling.

They originated in 1982 as a confidential service for battered women in Rockbridge County. Later, they joined together with Rockbridge Area Coalition Sexual Assault and started their efforts to help victims of dating, domestic and sexual violence. Now, they are able to assist those affected by violence with an emergency shelter, counseling and legal education.

They impact so many lives with the help of over 30 volunteers and hundreds of generous members of our community. We are proud to be one them this year. Our office is still collecting items to give until December 20th. Please stop by the next time you are in the area and drop off any of the items listed above.
