The Washington County Historical Society is having a “Star-Spangled War of 1812 Exhibit.” This exhibit is marking the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. Artifacts over 200 years old will be on display. Check it out during normal museum hours. Santa Claus is coming to town. Or more specifically the Mall. Santa will be arriving at the Valley mall Nov.10th. See Santa arriving via a holiday train. All kids will receive a free holiday gift! Get your picture taken with the jolly old elf himself.

Hagerstown Aglow Lighthouse invites you Monday, Nov.12th to participate in a Community Shopping Night at Ten Thousand Villages in Hagerstown, MD. On Nov. 12, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m., Ten Thousand Villages will donate 15 percent of all sales to Hagerstown Aglow. Hagerstown Community College, in partnership with Food Resources, Inc., will hold its 12th Annual Turkey Trot Nov.22nd. Take part in a 5K run/walk for adults, the “Mashed Potato Race” for children between the ages of three and 10, and a food drive. Please bring two or more canned or nonperishable goods to be donated to the Community Food Bank Warehouse and be entered to win some great prizes!
