Valley Storage Acquires Five Storage Facilities in West Virginia
Valley Storage has continued its expansion in the West Virginia market with the purchase of five facilities formerly branded L&H/AAAA in the Martinsburg/Shepherdstown area which include 270,000 square feet of rental space. The facilities will now operate under the Valley Storage brand.
The newly acquired facilities are located at 6610 Winchester Avenue Inwood, WV; 1744 Shepherd Grade Road Shepherdstown, WV; 78 Delia Way Martinsburg, WV; 2848 Winchester Avenue, Martinsburg WV (an annex to the Delia Way store); and 2054 Williamsport Pike Martinsburg, WV. The 2054 Williamsport Pike facility will be operated out of the existing Valley Storage Martinsburg location, which is adjacent at 2006 Williamsport Pike. The facilities will be re-branded to “Valley Storage” with new signage on the property as well as on their website.
With this acquisition Valley Storage now ranks 50th in the nation as a top operator with 28 locations in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. Todd Snook, President of Valley Storage, says,“We are looking forward to increasing our presence in the Martinsburg market, and to continue bringing our high standard of customer service to residents in West Virginia.”
The facilities will be professionally managed by Storage Asset Management, Inc. (SAM) in York, Pennsylvania; a full service self -storage property management and consulting company.
