With simple act of kindness, underprivileged children can experience the happiness of the season and simply be a kid again.
Not only is Toys for Tots focusing on our community with this outreach during the holidays, they have started literacy programs and fundraising activities in many neighborhood. They work together with The UPS Stores to encourage members to donate new books for underprivileged schools.
By including local schools and businesses, each branch of Toys for Tots grows a little more every year. Last year alone they were able to raise $280 million, for the toy drive. This was the second best year since they began.
